The Process

Consultation - We will discuss your ideas and vision for your dream dress. A sketch and estimate will be provided for your approval before moving forward. 

Pattern - A muslin/mock-up of your dress is made. The final design details and fit of your gown are worked out at this fitting. Note: Designing a dress can be a free flowing process where certain design elements may present themselves elevating your original concept to something even more spectacular. This is part of the beauty and organic process of designing your dream dress.

1st Fitting- Your dress will be made in the fabrics you have chosen. (as per swatches that I will provide for your approval) 

Final Fitting/s- Your Cinderella moment will reveal itself as we go through the process to fit your gown to your body and to the details that will make it absolutely stunning and perfect. 

Bridal gowns typically start at $1500 + fabric.

All other evening dresses typically start at $700 + fabric.

Pricing varies on the level of difficulty your pattern requires, the amount and cost of fabric needed, and the amount of handwork details (beading/lacework) you desire. 

Please allow at least 10+ months for a custom wedding gown and at least 6+ months for other evening wear designs. 

One of the most special ways we can pay homage to our loved ones is to repurpose one of the most important gowns they wore in their lifetime. I have been repurposing vintage wedding gowns for over 15 years, but not until recently has it become more popular. I have taken lace from dresses to make bouquet ties and a clutch purse to completely reconstructing a vintage gown into something new to wear as a reception dress or rehearsal dinner dress. One of the most popular methods of repurposing these beloved gowns is to turn them into Baptismal and Christening gowns. I adore working on these projects and giving new life into something that was once so special. 

Christening gowns typically start at $300

A full redesign of a vintage gown can range from $500-1500

Smaller items like handkerchiefs and bouquet ties can range from $35-45 each

Make sure that your gown is professionally tailored to you for the big day. Whether it only needs the straps raised or your gown needs an entire revamp, your gown will look like it was made for you.

Are you a mother of the bride/groom, bridesmaid, flowergirl, going to prom, a gala or ball? I do all evening wear but book up quickly during wedding season so don't hesitate to make your appointment!

Pricing varies based on how much work is needed to your garment. Typically there is a minimum of 2 fittings for your garment, but I may require more if there is extensive work to be done. 

Average pricing for Bridal ranges from $500-800

Average pricing for Mother's gowns range from $150-450

Average pricing for Bridesmaid dresses range from $100-250

-Please allow at least 4 months for fittings and alterations to your bridal gown; and at least 8 weeks for all other evening gowns. 

• PLEASE NOTE:  I will do my best to accommodate short time frames but if you can help it, don't wait to the last minute! The more time you give for fittings, the less stressful and more enjoyable the process will be.
